argh to buy or not to buy. see i want all black, arent really loving chrome on mine , but its only a wee drop

. and there is still the chrome door handles aswell.
what shall i do

I agree with the mad one, do it!

It's only a little bit of chrome, helps give contrast. I'm the same as you, don't want too much chrome but on AB it looks wicked! On my new one (BRG), I'm thinking carbon...

I have the checkered ones on my Sparkling Silver R56 and they look great!

You can fit them yourself and takes less than 2 minutes for each side! Just pop up the bonnet, slide the existing side scuttle forward and they will come loose. Pull out the light bulb connected to the wire, I believe there is a little notch you have to press down and the side scuttle is free. Change it with the new ones and fit it back in the reverse order!
