iv just bought a mini cooper r56 model and i need 2 get a replacement bumper and bonnet for it. does any 1 know if the bumper and bonnet of a r56 model cooper s will fit directly onto the cooper as i have found these on the web a lot cheaper and easier.

Yes, but you might have problems fitting the cooper grille surrounds with the cooper s bumper without some titivating. There's a whole thread about grilles, surrounds and bumpers here

Yes they will fit they are direct replacements. How come you need replacement bonnet and bumper or are you just looking for the S look?

i may end up having the bumper off a cooper s and the bonnet off the normal cooper, i have put a bid in for some black grill surrounds on ebay but they are for the cooper. will they fit with these different parts???? thanx for the help.

If you have the Cooper S front buper you can have a Cooper S grill too. You will have to have the standard Cooper ones on the bonnet (in you keep your Cooper bonet) and have the Cooper S lower chrome bit with the Cooper S grill as this is what i have!

Hi,

Just wondering, does a cooper s bumper fit on a dooper? I read the thread about the grilles. I think I have to use a JCW grille if I want it to fit. Any toughts?
