Hi everyone, first time on the forum. I need help, got a 56 plate cooper, the spoiler got ripped off the other day, does anyone know where i can get a new one from besides mini themselves because there quoting near £400. Its just a standard spoiler i'm after, not a cooper s one.

and see if they'll do you a deal on one, I think they did the aero spoiler for the R53 for around £150 or summit, £400 seems way way expensive unless there's work needed from it being "ripped" off.

Can i ask how your spoiler got ripped off? Was it vandalism?!

I can get you one for next to nothing what colour do you need??

thanks for your replies, I'm ashamed to say i put it through a car wash and the brushes decided the car looked better without the spoiler on, there's no other damage to the car.
It's pure silver.
How much can you get one for joe?

Depends on what style spoiler you want. Typically i can get upgrade spoilers cheaper but should be able to get a standard COOPER one for you. PM me your email address and i will find out for you.

Off topic I know, but I'm getting a JCW spoiler this week - how much did you pay for your's?

I paid £225.00 for mine and installed it myself. I get these parts from a friend of mine that imports and exports car/boat parts. He doesn't always have them in stock but can get hold of them if asked. How much have you been qouted?

I've been quoted £300. The cheapest I could find on the web was actually £371!

To be honest after postage it wouldn't be far off the £300 mark anyway. To be honest it seems like a good price to me. You should go for it.

Ordered an Aero (Non JCW) spoiler from Woodman's in Blackpool.
The spoiler, painted, incl VAT and fitting is just under £200

.

Be sure to post some pics once its on. As im sure there alot of poeple out there looking to find pics of it installed with a pic taken including some of the car rather than just the spoiler.
