colour coded arches??

Hi I have been thinking about colour coding my r56 cos i really liked the r53 with the colour coded arches, however i havent seen any r56's with the colour coding. Has anyone done it? Any thoughts, Photoshoped it?

P.S Mine has the works aero kit so would that change anything??

There is NO WAY colour coding could spoil your car! If anything it will look alot better. I say go for it.

I also have a full JCW kit on my COOPER and am thinking of colour coding.

On some colours it looks good, Red is not (in my opinion) one of the colours that looks right colour coded good job we have our own views, would be boring otherwise huh

Thaks a lot super dupper cooper, I agree actually thats why I wanted to see if anyone had any photos of it as I just think it can look really good, but haven't seen it on an r56 (in chilli red...) What do you reckon I should do then cos I've got the bug to do a little modding, What do you think spoiler, Side repeaters, exhaust (slash cutt or cooper s style)????

I'm not very keen in the idea. I've got an Astro Black JCW R56. As much I'd love to, the plastic arches give the car a bit of character and makes it look different rather than being "all black". It's also less to clean as well .

I might be tempted if I see another AB JCW R56 with the arches colour coded.

2.0L MINI GP?! Really?

Why would you make a rare car something its not. It will really depreciate the resale value of your car and ruine yet another one of so few MINI GP's out there.

Altough it does sound good i could never bring myself to do it or applaud it. No offense to you by the way.

well Joe don't go thinking GPs are worth good money because their not! cost new £22,000 i was offered £14,000 only one and a half years old with only 15,000 miles that is not a good re sale in my book. the 20L engine looks the same you cant tell BMW cant tell either but when you get behind the wheel

Thumbs up

In that case it sounds amazing. How is it done? Is the original head bored out or is it a completely different engine?

I knew GP's lost alot of money but not that much. Does the gear box or anything need changing due to higher power?

The 20L engine gets new liners fitted also bigger pistons and new cam. and looks no different to a std GP!
