I have seen a couple of threads about removing the mirror caps to fit new ones. But first i have to buy some new ones to fit. I really want a pair of bright red ones to go on my dark silver R56.

I have looked on ebay, searched online for ages but i can not find some anywhere. Has anyone got any ideas, other than buying primed ones and getting them painted myself.

dont see many red ones as they would have to be a roof body color car, leave a search on ebay for "r56 red" see what pops up may take a while but they can go for silly money i got only £4.99 for a pair of white ones i sold

It's easy to paint your own, I did it with my R53.
Halfords stock all BMW paints if you want to be consistent, it's 20 minutes work (mostly preparation) and will only cost you about £15.
