My brother purchased a Cooper S spoiler of eBay for his R56 Cooper and has come to fit it today and found that one of the bolts nearest to one of the edges is cross threaded.

Is it possible to change that one bolt or not?

Yes. the bolt in the spoiler slip in and out of place so slide it ou and replace it with something similar in shape and size then bond it in with some good glue and it should be ok. When i say good glue make sure it actually is, as (like in a thread about the JCW sploiler i started) i ran into a problem when changing my CHILLI spoiler for my JCW one, one of the screws was not locked in properly and was able to just spin and spin along with the bolt whilst a was trying to turn it. Luckily a was able to get it off but was very annoying
