Aftermarket Fog lights/additional driving light??

HI I am looking into adding some driving lights/additional/fog lamps (here i'll call them fogs) and don't want to pay bmw's stupid price so have been looking at aftermarket ones.....
heres a few quick questions;
What make would you recommend (wipac???)
How do you have to wire them, do you mount a seperate switch and does the r56's ecu take kindly to this sort of thing?
Mounting them through a works grille/bellow the bumper (not the very bottom bellow the number plate)
And would a decent guarage fit them for me??

Please share your experience and thoughts.........

Dont know if the car will reject them unless programed by BMW. I think also any faults with wiring or electrical systems directly or indirectly caused by the lights being fitted could void your warranty. Its a very hard situation when it comes to aftermarket parts as BMW use them the slightest thing to void warrany.

If you fit the standard MINI Spot lights then the car DOES NOT need coding, so in theory it should be the same for aftermarket ones.

And the MINI spot lights attach the bumper using the bumper screw points behind the grille.
