Hi all,

This is the first worrying problem i've had with my S, or any mini I've owned, and i'm
hoping someone can shine some light on it.

On Thursday my car went in to the dealers to have the ipod interface fitted, the dealers picked
the car up and brought it back. However, since then I've noticed that when ever I close the
drivers side door and the window pops up to reseal, it makes a loud bang, which sounds
like its coming from the door/window in the area of the B post, the only way I can describe the
noise is to liken it to hitting a plastic bin with a hammer.

Now here's the strange part, once in the car with door shut, and the engine still off, if I role the
window down then up again to full height the noise is gone. But, if i start the engine, and roll the
window down and up again to full height, the bang noise is back. Very confusing

I dont think this has anything to do with having the ipod installed and I've checked around the
door/window opening for any bits and bobs that should'nt be there or that look out of place, all
with no luck.

Does anyone know what this could be? I would like to fix it myself if i can, so i'm not without
the car for another day. Or, has anybody else had this issue.
