Wheel Arch Trims

Just came back from Mini and I have been booked in for tomorrow as well, since some of the plastic "bolts" that hold the carpet like trim in position are broken...the technician told me that they have already had this problem with other r56 minis, since they are a bit loose fitted from the factory and easily come off position...this is the first issue so far since delivered

Two at the front, just "behind" the bumper and one at the rear...and we are talking moving in central London, not in a country road...

Today they have succesfully replaced all the factory fitted ones in all 4 wheel arch trims, buttttt (Arghhhh) they told me that the spotlight is ordered from Germany and have to wait for a week (or two?)...

All of them! I take it that's just to be sure, not that they were all bad!

I missed the spotlight post before.

Yeah Paul they just told me that its better to have new ones fitted rather than coming back when it rains again...one of the spots was broken by some *** while I had her parked 2 weeks ago, but it seems they only have the black (!!) version available and not the chrome

I'm surprised, I would have thought chrome would be in higher demand and be in greater supply. Goes to show what I know!
