Well took my MCS back today to get them to look into why nothing below the speedo lights up .5hrs later they call back to say it will take 2/3 days to fix it, as it has a short circuit. Wait for it we dont have curtesy car to give you. Iam so angry right now i might kill them. Or we will put the car back together & you can bring it back next week when we may have curtesy car for you. I love this car but its the last Mini i buy
This problem has been there from the start ,so what happened @ the PDI

Tell them to give you a demo or a MINI that is for sale.

Remind me, what other probs have you had?

auto light sensor changed
speakers buzzing 2 changed
timing chain rattling .
diesel noise a couple of times
AND THIS MODULE
1more & they can take it back

Interesting - the early R50's had footwell module problems (BC1) it was caused by water leaking onto them
