Hi guys, I am a new owner from Greece and I would like to share with you my experience with mini.I first got it in my hands on 18th of May.The next day (19 may), the collar/tube that connected the turbocharger with the intercooler got cut....The car stayed in the service for about 16 days...!!!!After I got it back repaired, the air conditioning broke down....The solution was a problem in the CPU, and they changed it(By the way, an other 9 days in the service).Now, a vary annoying rattle exists behind the speedometre.I drives me crazy.They tried to repair it, but after two days they called me and informed me that thjey cannot just do anything and I have to live with that....I really do not know what to do..

of course they can fix it... can you reject cars over there ? If so start that process and then they might at least try.

I am sorry about the problems....at least they fixed them (although it took them ages). However, they should be able to fix the rattle. I do not know which service delaer you are using, but maybe it is worth trying visiting another dealer as well (maybe Spanos or Sfakianakis).

Also, I would send an email or letter (something written, do not call them!) to BMW Hellas with all my compalints. From my experience, they are quite helpful.

From BMW Hellas the official answer is that "I have to live with thenoise and they cannot do anything"
I made an official complain to the Ministry of Trading and Development, requesting a take this car and give me a new one.
Unfortunately in Greece you cannot reject the car as in other countries.
And now I just stay with this problematic car looking around if somebody can fix it.
On monday I have an appointment in an other dealer.

Good Luch Chara...I hope your problem will be resolved. Just keep pushing them....they should not get away with these things!!

How did the IC tubing get cut? Fault of the car or back luck with some road debris?
