Hey i know there is a thread already about the rattling in r56 models but i think mine is slightly unrelated. ive done about 1000 miles in my 57 r56 cooper and occassionaly there is a squek from behind the rev counter. i think. its on the drivers side, but i cant pin point it. i dont have sat nav or anyhting, only a MFSW so i dont think its related to anything there, dont even have A/C lol.

anybody able to shine a light??

It may be the windshield seal. Mine makes a terrible squeaking noise at 80+ mph. Bad windshield seal.

I seem to have a similar squeek behind the speedo, only seems to happen with lateral movement (corners). But i put it down to 5 laps of the Nurbugring, because thats when it started!
