'Official' R56 recalls?

Is there a list somewhere of 'official' R56 recalls, and do these recalls vary by country? I realize that some parts vary by country, but I would think that with shared components, if a recall is issued in one country, the same fault it addresses would affect vehicles in other regions.

I'm asking because I read that there was a recall to replace the 30A fuse for the engine fan with a 40A. I have even read of more recent cars arriving with a 40A fuse already installed. After checking, I discovered that my new Mini (picked up two weeks ago, but manufactured back in February) has a 30A fuse in this location. I decided to call the dealer because I assumed my car must have missed the recall. After providing my VIN, the service guy looked it up in the 'main computer' and informed me there have been no recalls on my vehicle.

I went in to my dealer for another issue and was told that I needed my fuse replaced. They said it isn't a "recall" it is a "product enhancement" depending on when your car was produced. Your local dealer can search your VIN to tell if your car falls within the range that requires a new fuse.
If you are having problems you can call the guys at MINI Richmond they've always been super helpful whenever i have any questions.

My car (a Jan 07 Cooper) had this fuse replaced at the same time as the alternator bolt torque was checked.

I've had two recalls on my Dooper (April'07 build), one for the particle filter and the other to change the fuse for the engine fan.
I only found out about these by contacting the dealer to see if there were any recalls on my car after reading that others had had them. I'd didn't recieve any notice of a recall.

Maybe MINI/BMW don't class them as recalls and just carry out the work during the next planned service

Not sure if the alternator bolt was an official recall, but I got a letter from the dealer about it.

When I went in, about 2 weeks later, they said the fuse also needed replacing.

well, i recently received a call from my Mini dealer that BMW Malaysia has issued a recall on all R56 MCSs to replace some OSIM cable which is linked to the AUX input. A two day job so it seems.
