![]() Taller Than You! | Hi, I've just fitted some 18" JCW wheels + Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres to my R56 cooper. I did about 20 miles without any problems. But now the Red Runflat Indicator light keeps coming on in the middle of the rev counter, and every time I clear it the darn thing comes back on. ![]() I had the runflat light come on very very rarely on my old JCW S but that was an R53 I've checked the tire pressures all around and they're at 35-36psi ![]() Anyone know how to clear this light? Cheers, Andy |

Offline | Are you talking about the square LED display, not the actual runflat warning light? How are you clearing it? Are you resetting the system using the menu system? I doubt your wheels/tyres have anything to do with it. Red/Black R56 Cooper |

![]() Taller Than You! | Yes I am talking about the square led in the middle of the rev counter. This has only started happening since the wheels + tyres were changed. I press the stalk button on the left to clear it. I've also tried going into Check-Info and it flashes up read but don't know how to clear it from there. |

Offline | OK, you are not actually clearing it - pressing that button once will only clear it temporarily. You actually need to reset the tyre pressure monitoring system. This requires you to go through the on board computer menus until you find it. Not as easy as the R50 MINI. Difficult to explain as you need to press the button loads of times to get to the setting. It is covered in the manual somewhere. Let us know how you get on. Red/Black R56 Cooper |
