Offline | Xenon lights - The Continent? Hi, I've looked in the manual, but can't find any instructions as to what to do to convert the Xenon headlights for driving on the other side of the road. Anybody know? WipeOut |

Offline | I recently took my MCS to France and i din't bother with the lens deflectors. and i didn't notice anyone else on the boat with them on. depending on how long you are going for you might get away with it. |

Offline | xenon lights cannot (it seems) be treated by applying tape or masking out the correct area. I took mine to my local BMW/Mini garage who said it has to be adjusted ( I think there is a lever type adjuster). They did so on the spot and for free, on return from holiday they reversed the change, again for free. |

Offline | That's irresponsible and inconsiderate! You will dazzle other drivers and could cause an accident. Your insurance company would also take a dim view of your behaviour. It doesn't mean other people do it, it makes it okay for you. Black tape costs next to nothing! People like you give us all a bad reputation. I regularly drive on the continent (several times a year), and the French police are really cracking down on British cars (particularly speeding). They can levy large fines on the spot and take you to a cash point and demand the money. They'll hold you and your car until you pay up. I hope for your sake you don't get caught or cause an accident. |
