Noisy standard fit wipers

Hi,

My wife's new One seems to have the noisiest wipers I've heard.

It seems to be the flip that the blades perform on their return.

Anyone else suffered the same and found success in fitting an alternative brand?

Cheers,

Si.

Yes Spd i would agree but as we have the engine and gear noise we have not worried about it so much a good set of heavy blades might help

Wipers have always been $h!te on al MINI models

Our new R56 had them juddering after 2 weeks!....I had them replaced but was adamant i wouldn't pay for them - and didn't!

on previous MINI I couldn't fire wipers at the car quick enough! - not doing that again! Up to MINI to solve another design issue!

Yes, the OEM wipers suck! When they replace your wipers make sure they don't bend the silver metal bars, or they'll perform even worse. I've had mine changed out so many times in 13mo.

I even tried the Bosch ICONs and Valeo Ultimates and they don't squeak, but they also don't make contact with serveral inches of the top and side edges because the windscreen is curved so much.

I hear good things about PIAA, but I havent tried them myself.

Must look into them!
Hopefully will save having to change every few months!
