Sat Nav is lost!

My Sat nav system (MINI factory version) thinks the car is somewhere off the coast of Edinburgh. About 2 miles it seems.
Maybe all the rain has it confused...

Anyway - anyone know if I can reset it? I'm hoping this is a simple software bug I can fix myself.

Thanks all!

you could try CTRL, ALT, DEL!!!!

Only kidding, try removing the nav DVD and re-inserting it and that should re-boot it

RG250871,

Did you manage to fix your Sat-nav? Mine is currently saying I'm near Luton, even though I'm parked up outside my parent's house in Lincolnshire. I tried removed the DVD, then tried removing the 30A fuse marked with a radio symbol, but the unit still doesn't reset (it asks "Continue guidance?" when the power is restored so it's remembering the last destination). It seemed to get confused yesterday when I drove along the old A1 near Peterborough - rather than the new A1(M) which runs closely parallel: when I rejoined the A1 at the Peterborough services it thought I was at Corby...

I'm waiting for a reply from the local dealer (Soper) but I need to be back on the road tomorrow for a long journey and I'll feel lost (!) without the TMC as I hit the M25.

Thanks,

Rob. (R56 MCS)
