[ROCKY56]

On my Cooper S ( R56 ) I have noticed a fairly strong smell of petrol after I have switched engine off. It seems to be coming from the Exhaust Tailpipe.

I do expect it to smell a little, but when I park in my garage and go back an hour later you can smell it quite strong as soon as you open the garage door. ( It lasts for a few hours and is gone by the next morning )

I have searched the forums to see if this has been mentioned before but I have only found threads relating to Petrol smells from the engine or in the car itself i.e. leaking fuel pump

I am not very mechanically minded so I wasn't sure if this was normal or should I have my dealer look at it?
