Has anybody had problems with R56 sunroof?

Hi guys

Just interested if anybody is having or had problems with the sunroof on their R56?

Mine is just over 12 months old now and in the last couple of days the opening has been really lazy. The closing is fine though. I have tried this when warm and cold and doesn't make any difference.
It is booked in, but wanted to know if anybody else had the same problem and found out what the cause/fix was?

I have a different problem - the seals are knacked and pushed down into the roof space leading to lots of road noise! Back to the dealer.

I have read different posts about problems with the sunroof on our Dutch forum matching your description. The problems were gone after a full replacement of the sunroof (warrenty).

Just heard back from the dealer, a complete new sunroof assembly has been ordered, think part of the motor was faulty....
