Hi,

My Cooper is only four weeks and 600 miles old. I've noticed that if you take your foot off the brake quite quickly it clunks quite badly - drives you nuts on cross-country drives.

The dealer (Cooper Norwich) says that they all do it. What do you think?

I have also had some clutch/drivetrain issues - judder when cold and clunk/slack/driveline shunt when changing up from 2-3, 3-4 etc and rengaging the clutch, but only noticeable on long trips and when engine is hot.

Feels like wear in the CV joint/drivetrain, but dealer thinks it is slack in the dual-mass flywheel and says "see how it goes".

Anyone else spotted this?
