07 Interior Pics

I remember seeing pics of the upcoming new MINI interior on MINI2.

I can't find them now, can anyone point me in the direction of them?

Cheers,

Olly

The new interior does look good, if those shots turn out to be the real thing i'll be chuffed with the changes they have made.

I think the new interior looks brill! So what if it looks more BMW, it looks much more expensive than the currect one, those mouldings look the dogz, the way the rounded vents are faired into the dash! Very nice indeed!!

I really like the interior, and with the red it looks even better.

Go to http://www.newmini2006.co.uk/ and click on the interior bit and enlarge the centre console section for a pic of the sat nav

I think the sat nav looks especially good as it moves the stereo controls just below the cd slot.

I want to know what the third button is next to the DSC & Sport

It seems as though the brake and accelerator pedals are oriented together (in the same plane) and designed to support heel-toeing. The clutch pedal seems a bit forward and to one side, hovever.

Anyone notice this, or are the 60's kicking-back on me?

a couple of design features i really like even without seeing it for real are the horizontal member across the dash - almost reminiscent of how jaguar do it

& the way the interior door ellipse breaks into the end of the door panel - how much better does this look than the current panel - makes it look nasty by comparison & the current interior was groundbreaking when new

I am a HUGE fan of the new interior. More I've seen of it, the more I like it, and the seats are very comfy, the driving position similar, yet improved.

Question Keyless Ignition?

I'm not too sure about the keyfob instead of the key. From the pix I've seen, it sits up on the dashboard - is this right? If so, does it mean the rest of the keys on your keyring will be dangling against (and rubbing against) the dash trim?

My missus has a Renault Scenic with a keyles ignition - she doesn't even have to take the cardkey out of her handbag - it would have been cool to have this system....
