Offline | Several more (almost all previously unused) interior images. I had a lot of out takes and unused photos that I either planned to use and didn't manage to include in my reports, or just took as back-ups/extras. I still thought they would be worth sharing with you all. Click on any thumbnail for a larger version. Silver interior overview (auto aircon). ![]() New, much narrower door pocket detail. ![]() Where your feet go (assuming it's your turn to drive). ![]() Bags on the back seat! ![]() The REALLY small rear, well, I would say "bins", maybe tray is better. And a speaker too,. ![]() Rear seat, c-post etc. ![]() Isofix etc. ![]() The centre console: ![]() Rev counter: ![]() And again: ![]() Speedo etc. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Soft seat back: ![]() Passenger airbag disable: ![]() Roof toggle panel. ![]() These were all taken in the Pure Silver car with auto aircon (climate). More to follow from other cars. |

Offline | Sadly no, not for lack of wanting to, but it was very well tethered and looked likely to break if too much pressure was applied. But it just looks like it's exactly the same as earlier spy shots caught the interior as. It was quite flexible so you could feel the dash shape. Not that that's any use to anyone! |

Online | First impressions of the "new" interior is that it appears "over-fussy", like it's trying too hard. The good thing with the current car is that it's stylish, but simple, exactly what you want...... |

Offline | Interesting photos Paul! ![]() I'm not crazy about this new interior. It looks too plasticky! The only things that I really like are the new door panels and the roof toggle panel. ![]() |

Offline | They did that with the current MINI though and it worked well. But I know what you mean. It is important to remember that many of the plastic parts are apparently not in the same finish the production models will be in. They're not giving everything away at this stage in the game. |

Offline | I like it, but there are a couple of things missing that have made my MINI different from any other car. The lights on the end of the stalk (already mentioned) The arrow on the petrol gauge that tells you which side your petrol cap is on. Loving the key/start button. Not bothered about the lack of space in the rear compartments, the less space there is to put stuff then the less junk I will carry around!! Any major dude will tell you stroke my hair and call me Maude |

Offline | Like Roof toggles - like in a Boeing 747! More interesting heater controls Seats - full leather is a must for my R56! Dislike Reduced storage - but as mentioned, it does mean you carry less junk Chrome trim now thin rings, they don't cover the whole of the rev counter or speedo surrounds Overall a very well thought out update. |
