Too bad there is no Carbon like trim, like some Audi's have.. it's pretty nice.

Now I've seen what the Lounge leather looks like I like that. But not sure about the red version with red "Interior World"? Too much red?

There are restrictions on which colour combinations you can choose. My dealer had a separate document with these. The document had "permitted" and "recommended" and "unavailable" options for each of the combinations. Hope this doesn't disappoint anyone who was planning Chili Red with the Blue Ray cloth/leather and a Mellow Yellow colourline...

Also, IIRC, the red door panels that come with the red lounge leather are slightly terracotta-ish, rather than the bright rooster red of the colourline. I also seem to recall that the lounge red leather comes with those red door panels (the interior world, not the colourline). I must confess I didn't look too closely because I wasn't speccing full leather, so I'd check with a dealer.

Here's the image I saw, from MSN:

Hey well done with that photo. That looks cool actually. Yes Red Lounge Leather only comes with Red interior world (door cards) so thought it might be a bit too much. Don't think I would want the red colour line with the door cards. Would have to see the overall effect to see if I like it really. Like the back seat view. Too much red? Well I've got a while to decide!

Lounge or Punch?

This seems strange to me - just been on www.mini.com (international site) and in the interior section, when you click the seat the attached image appears.

From looking at the teaser brochure in the dealers (shown in the first post of this thread) I would define the type of leather pictured as being 'punch leather' and have specced my new car on this assumption.

Now if you read the description attached it reads 'lounge leather' - doesn't lounge leather have the cream/white trim!?

I presume this is a mistake?

I think I prefer the leather pictured in the attachment - even though it is the cheaper of the two.

What do you think is it lounge or punch!? I think punch.

Yep, looks very much like the 'punch' leather shown in the brochure . Hopefully someone will be able to clear up the confusion soon!!!!

am I the only one that thinks the Oak could be a nice option in certain coloured cars?

On that picture we can see the door ellipse in the standard silver checkered finish right?
Checkered, aluminum or piano black... oh god.. so much choice, i hope they have a real show car with all the combinations available, like press a button and change combinations.

i'd like to see how real the 'real wood' looks, same for the aluminium. brg with oak & lounge leather would look very 'gentlemans club'

£2000 raised & still going..

It was a fairly dimly lit room, but I quite liked it.
