2007 Interior Colour & Fabric Sample Scan.

A few dealers (maybe all) in Europe have been able to get their mitts on a two page brochure with photos of the new MINI, and samples (examples) of the interior finishes and exterior paints.

Here is a scan of the interior fabrics. Please be aware that the silvers are metallic in finish, so scanned in as a yellow/blue so I had to make a "best guess" modification on those to samples. All others are "as scanned".

Click on image for larger version.

I'm keen on brushed alloy at this stage.

Brushed alloy will be the one to have

But, it is real metal, I have it in a BMW, and it can dent and scratch

Whats the difference in Fine White and Fluid Silvers?

I have no idea, they look pretty much the same to me! Probably the materials used at a guess?

It doesn't contain any text apart from headings, so nope, other than what can be made of the German brochure posted elsewhere.

The Carbon black lounge leather looks good. Although my only worry would be if the lounge leather is a bit more expensive, would that mean that it is softer leather and therefore like to wear quicker?

I really am hoping the leather in this model is improvement over the last. It used to sag and wear so badly

yes, punch black leather, which comes with std grey dash bolster & arm rests. this would come with either the silver or checkered dash & doors depending on whether you get a cooper or S. i'm guessing the silver will be the same as the current standard silver dash & the check a bit like the alloy patina. althernatively you could go full stealth mode & get the dash/doors in piano black

I have the perfect combination (I think, it may change tomorrow) Without technical specs, I fancy Mellow yellow, white roof, silver crown spoke alloys, lounge redwood red leather with piano black dashboard.

I wish the "pin stripe" where not so strong on the "Ray" in black. I was thinking all black inside and blue/white outside. With brushed alloy dash. All depends on the costs too I have to admit!

Thats exactly what i was hoping to go for too and I think the grey colourline with the black leather and blue exterior may look a bit fussy!

I agree that it will be harder to spec the interior than the exterior this time round. It seems a bit silly that you can only get blue, yellow etc colourline with cloth or half leather/cloth upholstery - as this will be a popular new extra for peeps I think some may decide not to go for the leather seats if they cannot get the colourline they want.

...exactly my opinion. I like Laser Blue and I would go for black leather seats and blue colour line...if I could!

I think the fixed colour lines for leather are quite conservative...(it's a MINI - not a BMW or Mercedes)

My dealer said that you can't get Yellow 'RAY' but you can get yellow 'colorline'

I wanted yellow Colorline with yellow leather on the seats

Not only is the English Oak trim real wood, but Brushed Alloy is real aluminium according to the spec list. Sounds good.

Here are the trim option costs (Cooper and S respectively):

Piano Black - £110/£40
Fluid Silver - £110/£40
English Oak - £210/£140
Brushed Alloy - £160/£90

Cheers, Paul
