Offline | This is comfort access, a new (R56) MINI feature, not comfort opening (windows etc.). Your dealer should be able to confirm for sure, I heard a rumour it was delayed, but my dealer never said it would affect my order (when it was on there). |

| MINI2 Senior | I just spoke to my dealer my Comfort Access System option is as planned as well as my November delivery. He said if there were any problems and availability issues the system would of knocked back my delivery date which it hasnt. Also it won't let you add it to the spec if not available for November. |

Offline | I am still trying to sort this out with my dealer, now I am wondering if they are looking for the right thing. Under some of the option infomation it is called "Keyless Access/Drive" ![]() |

| What's Next? | Option 322 is listed as 'Comfort Access System' on the internal options list, but 'Keyless Access/Drive' on the vehicle configurator, so they are one in the same thing. I have just tried a dummy order and it was (would have been) accepted for an unallocated December build slot. Hope this helps? Last edited by Scrogg : Oct 7th, 2006 at 10:48 PM. |

Offline | It isn't a non refundable deposit though , is it Even if it was they will normally give it you back if they can sell your 'slot' , which i would think wouldn't be too hard with people wanting the R56. ![]() |

| What's Next? | You won't lose anything. They always threaten to keep the money, but plenty have been taken to court by customers over disputed deposits and, unless they can prove they have incurred unrecoverable costs as a result of the order being cancelled, they almost always lose and end up giving the money back. Besides, do you honestly think any dealership can afford the negative publicity? |

Offline | Think I need to pop and see them tomorrow, I wouldn't put it past them, but perhaps they do want me to cancel, so they get my slot back Starting to think I am paranoid Elvet at Durham (wish I had tried them first) have confirmed that Keyless Access/Drive is available and said they can supply two weeks earlier W/C 20/11. |

Offline | Went to see my dealer today and they are still checking the comfort access option. Also mention that another dealer had offered me delivery for W/C 20/11. They have located a spare car and I should have it on launch day. They are still chasing the comfort access and will add this to the order if it is available, before it goes into production. If they can't spec it I will put the money to some spotlights or my Aerokit and R99 fund. ![]() |

| What's Next? | Thought the dates were a bit out, so just checked my calendar and week 47 is week commencing 20 November, so cars specced with this feature that are ordered in time should be delivered in week 49 (commencing 4 December). This is confirmed by DaveyC's post in the 'S Speccin' - The Next Generation...........' thread. |
