Is the new Mini HiFi sound sys the same as BMW's Logic7??? If so, that sound sys is amazing and totally worth the extra $$$.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i think the logic 7 set up is 13 speakers ?

The mini HiFi system comes with 10. 2 in each door, 2 in the back, and then a tweeter on each pillar of the car (i think)

I have it on order so i hope its good.

Its on order for my car so I hope is good too.

I think £300 is a bargain (providing its good)... it would cost more than that after market.

I wish they was still using the badged HK stuff.

yeah gutted why they ditched the hk sound system? I love my H/K in my cooper

Its still made by H/K, but MINI have branded it themselves now.

Very curious if any of you who have taken delivery can comment on the new MINI Hi-Fi.

I've heard rumblings that the new set-up is excellent, even compared to the previous generation HK stuff. Very similar to the BMW logic 7 set up (as far as sound quality), but with fewer speakers. Can anyony give some first hand feedback?

I am interested in doing the Hi-Fi amp/speakers... but not the full audio pack offered here int he US (Sattelite radio, HD Radio etc.) I just want to be able to plug in my iPod or a CD and have some decent sound.
