Offline | Someone mentioned maybe installing other stereos where the CD changer goes above the glove compartment. Maybe this could be used to intergrate aftermarket stereos? I don't mind as I'm not that fussed about aftermarket stereos. I prefer the look of intergrated controls. |

Offline | Historically it has been the first mod to a car I have done. I have now done the whole ear bleedingly loud thing previously on cars so don't feel the need to anymore, especially with the optional sound upgrades available which are of a decent standard these days. |

| Bring the noise | Was more than happy with the H/K system and have opted for the hi-fi upgrade on my R56. Not bothered about after-market units as they rarely look at home in most new cars. Would prefer to have matching switchgear. Acoustics of cars are not the best so no point for me in going too mad, have decent home system instead. |

| Wants an Audi | I'm really looking forward to getting the Hi-Fi system. After having two convertables in the household anything would sound better! AND if the rumours are true is still HK DJing in clubs with big sound rigs don't help much.... makes most cars sound tinny. (The sound in convertables is rubbish... even more so with the roof down) |
