DIY Planned products for R56

I think my first release will be a bluetooth kit linked to the mfsw (+ versions for cars without MFSW)
Next - Ipod connections & in the future Zune connection
Interior accent lighting
Decent audio upgrade
DVD & video ipod inputs for factory navigation

Excellent you will be supporting the R56 alrady!
Do you regret not getting one for your Demo car or not?

Don't regret it, far prefer the old shape & I havn't finished development on that yet , plus with 800,000 of them out there its got a huge customer base.
Mini have made the R56 MUCH harder for the aftermarket in all respects - audio, electronics, engine tuning, even lighting!! But I will be right there with the R56 - a demo car is not that important anyway as my biggest customer base is not the UK so they cant see it anyway
(I have a secret plan to get my Mum to get an R56 then we will have 2 demo cars - she just doesn't know it yet)

Mikey, I'm up for bluetooth for MFSW and an Ipod connector for my R56, which I get tomorrow.

Any idea of when you will have them available?

Mike let me know as soon as you have Icelink sorted and Bluetooth please, as we pick up around the 18th of December and we are holding out as long as possible for you to get this rather than go to the dealer to have it done

Its only a forum you know!

Never mind all this practical stuff how about saving the day and coming up with
something to make the R56 centre console look as good as the rest of the interior?

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

You may also recieve a Mini2 Knighthood and be Reffered to as 'SirMikeythemini' if you can come up with a replacement for those Side-repeaters!

The side repeaters are very strange, but I reckon they'd look quite good in the flesh (at least the S ones would).

Weird: would be the best way to describe them, they do look better in the flesh/metal/plastic, but they are not great.

The centre console is a weird thing. I don't like it at all. But, if you order the factory navigation, I think it looks quite good!

True! Personally I'd order it anyway. I've got it on my current MINI and wouldn't be without it now.
