Has anyone got any pics of the manual air con? I can't remember seeing any. It could even be a better choice over auto!

Ok, it's official, I'm a muppet!

I always thought that was the auto!

So (possibly another stupid question!) what does the auto look like then?

Ok, seen the auto. Why did they have to muck about with the manual version? It was fine before, simple and easy and classic. Now it just looks like it's going to be an **** to fiddle with. A decent after market head unit could make someone rich!

For completeness the heated windscreen control (part of the visibility pack) is the bottom left button on the manual air con.

What i can't quite understand is why there have been quite a few negative comments regarding the air con/ heater controls being in the shape of the MINI logo when the same was true of the previous models auto air con...or is it more to do with the way in which it's been done?

I think it's the way it's done, because as you say they did the same with the auto aircon on the first model and it was very well received.

I like it personally, part of the cuteness and likeability. Yep, i'd love them to be in brushed alloy, just don't want to pay for them to be!
