Is it just us that.........

Thinks the centre console where the heating controls are just looks odd - cheap, tacky and plain odd compared to the old model?

Really unsure on the new model - having seen one...we're just not sold. Love the exhaust, the seats are great and it looks okish.......but, dislike the large dial, dislike the centre console and not really keen on the aerokit.

Gutted.......but not totally........jeez, what do we do now, will wait and see what after market mods become available. We liked the chrome grill on the S.

I'm sort of surprised. I look at my centre console now and it looks really plain and old-fashioned. Sure the new speedo dial is a lot bigger but I think it looks better.

Yes, tiny !

I dunno what the fuss is about though, I quite like the standard large speedo.

I like the sat nav too, but as someone said, it is kinda like a weighing scales design

I am not that keen on the new Speedo, it's TOO big.

People seem to feel like they have to love one or the other at the moment. I love classic minis and that doesn't stop me loving my current MINI ot the R56. Embrace all that is MINI i say ( with the possible exception of warranty issues)

Ahh ...but I remember when i was a kid, there was an innocenti near to my junior school and the interior and the dash looked so much better then BL's efforts. Surely it couldn't have been any worse put together than a 70's british built mini( although some 80's minis were pretty ropey). I speak from experience. Whats in a continent anyway..wasn't Issigonis Turkish?

How about Spanish? I think the Authi Cooper had a black grille for some time.
Actually I'd prefer to have an S with a chrome slatted grille as well.
