aux in point

where is the aux in lead on the new mini r56...

It's not easy to locate by looking. There is a recess near the cup holders. Put your hand in the recess and feel on the top part you will then find the aux in point.

ok sounds a bit of a nightmare, and sort of throws a spanner in my plans, the master plan was to connect my ipod through my tom tom 510 and run in aux lead controlling the ipod via touchscreen in tom tom. hopefully ill be able to hide the wire behind centre console

It's not so bad, just under the bottom row of toggle switches, but hidden back a bit.

On a similar theme What lead is required for I-pod to Aux Input. Where from, How much? PLEASE

You can get ipod aux connectors from Apple, or from other electrical places, and eBay. Just goog ipod aux connector.

Is it just a 3.5mm jack? I've got a lead to connect my iPod to my stereo aux in and a 12V socket charger for it, so I guess I'll be sorted without having to pay for the extra special iPod connection!

OK, scrub that, finally got the picture to load in the 12v cabin thread, looks like i'm in business!
