Does the one in the 3 series allow you to search by artist name?

I hope you are right but If thats the case I will be very surprised as ALL the info available is clearly stating 5 playlists and a 5G, only one ref to 2G in a misprinted leaflet?

I hope the delay is for the functionality but surely if it was the same as your 3 series all the problems would have been ironed out?

The new thread appears to answer our questions, thanks to Scrogg. Now available for order.

I just bought a 2006 mini, and its specs listed "auxiliary input ready". There is nothing in my manual about where it is or what I will need to connect my ipod to it. By reading some of the forum postings, I assume the connection is in the glove box. I found a pdf link showing how to install an ipod interface kit, but I a need a similar set of instructions for connecting my ipod through the existing auxiliary input.

Its under the centre dash column right at the bottom, below the electric window/fog switches. If you bend down and peek inside the storage pocket you'll see it hidden in there.
