Video of "heartbeat" alarm indicator, mood lights, and interior at night.

Here: http://www.mini2.com/video/mellow_night.mov

Quicktime only, and it's quite big. But I thought there's enough interest to warrant it.

I'm not on Broadband yet, I know, I know!!!

Paul - you've reported about the mood lighting not matching up.

Do both doors for example, show the same colours or is it random?

Will look really cr*p with one door in one colour and the other in another.

Hopefully MINI are looking into fixing this quirk.

Each "pair" match each other, but they just dont match the other sets. Most obvious is b-pillar lights compared to waterfall lights. The door lights are quite dull, but also appear closer to the b-pillar than the waterfall lights.

when my lights in the roof are blue, so are the B pillars and the door handles...

cant seem to see the door bin ones, maybe it's not been dark enough or i was concentrating on driving

Yes, blue and orange are pretty much spot on, but all the other shades are out. Tried and confirmed on five new MINIs, all the same. The shades of purple etc. do not match.

Our S, Press S, Press Cooper, Two MINIs at the Dealership, all exactly the same.

did it come like that? if not isnt it a mission with the electronics to do this, cause u got to get into the wiring of the car. and how do u install them in the roof? it would be cool if I put one outlining the sunroof in the roof

Depends what we're talking about. The interior lights package is a stand alone option or part of the Chili Pack, the alarm is standard.

This heartbeat alarm indicator only works like that for so long then flashes normally like a normal alarm indicator LED like on other cars.

The "heartbeat" is the standard alarm indicator. As per this post: http://www.mini2.com/forum/2nd-gen-i...ml#post2796496
