Offline | Mikey, I am about to order a MCS for my new co car but already have a fair bit of ICE components already. Do you offer an installation only service given that I already probably own the necessary bits and pieces? Have done a bit of installing myself with my current 3 series, which was relatively easy as the battery is in the boot but the Mini looks a bit more complicated if your pics are anything to go by. Do you take the seats out because it makes working on the car easier, or because you have to?? Cheers Scott |

Offline | Mikey, I would love to bring mine to you, but it's a bit too far ![]() I have the HI-FI 10 speaker option in mine, but I was wondering if I could just replace the speakers with some aftermarket ones to improve the sound? As I already have the amp that was fitted by MINI, can you recommend which would be the best option in speakers to go for? Life's fun in black and white |

Offline | Is it me, but does the HIFI option sound really hollow/squeaky? There is an awful lot of high tones when I listen to it and when I turn it up to get some bass, the tweeters start hurting my ears... (I have turned treble down, but that does not do very much) |

Offline | hard to say without knowing your budget but just about any 3 way component speaker set to replace the front's is going to make a very noticable difference. I'd recommend Focal's polyglass 3way set but they go for about $350 on ebay. |

Offline | It is amazing how much an R56 has to be stripped out when compared to an R53. Why is it sunny up there today - it was B .. freezing at times last Friday when we touring the capital of culture. Keep up the good work In Italy |

Online | All finished - I bet their wasn't much conversation in the car on the way home hope you like it - & that you can still hear![]() We fitted our full R56 upgrade with the pillar option & added Dave's own 2nd amp for his sub from his last car. Here's the amps - they can only just be seen with the seat folded & fully forward |

Online | Here's the speakers The fronts we used to use (300 watt clarion 2 way components) have now been upgraded to 400 watt clarion 2 way components. The usual 3 way Kenwood 6*9's in the rear. All done without cutting the doors or rear panels. Lots of sound deadening (& we also deadened the tailgate due to you having a sub) |
