Offline | How the mighty have fallen... LOL! Here is Scrogg's list of fully compatible phones from Jan 07... http://www.mini2.com/forum/2nd-gen-i...ml#post2841505 You should however be OK with most Bluetooth phones these phones are really of you wanted to purchase the additional charging brackets that fit into OUR beloved armrest. P.S. I decided to wait on removing the armrest. Will first check and see if I will be OK with it (doubt it though! : ) |

![]() Run out of ideas... | miniXL's right, the 'compatible phones' list is just for the charger (and seeing how out of date it is already will give you some idea how long it will be before the K800i or D900 make it on!) Apart from that, any Bluetooth phone will work with the factory system, just like they will with, for example, a Parrot kit. The factory kit is no better or worse than an aftermarket kit would be in terms of sound quality, connection strength, functionality etc. You already know my view on whether it's good value or not! |

| Wants an Audi | If you dont have keyless go then visit mikey at NewMINIStuff.com , he does an aftermarket that works like the factory fit (wont work with keyless go). I've rejected my first R56 so can change the spec on my new one, so was thinking to bin the TV and add bluetooth. Also fancy an auto now. ![]() ![]() Now With Toyo Rubber!! ![]() |

Offline | As far as im concerned, it is superb in every way. I did winge a bit at the price at first but you do get the MFSW and of course the armrest (some like it some dont). I can only see it as a good resale point especially when lots of people are gettting points etc and it once again becomes flavour of the month. I just figured that putting all this aftermarket stuff in is just more to go wrong. When its done at the factory it is all neat, and covered by the fantastic warranty. Im not saying there is anything wrong with the aftermarket ones at all, after all, you pay your money and take your chance. Sorry about all the waffle.......but as you can gather, im a fan of the Factory Bluetooth. ![]() |

![]() Run out of ideas... | ![]() No, I haven't reached that low yet! Samsung appears to be the 'phone of choice' of the Motor Trade right now, so between three of us last year we had pretty much the full range, all of which were paired up to all of the demonstrators as we were always swapping cars. |

| MINI2 Regular | Its annoying, just keeps searching doesnt pick up either. I'll try another samsung then. I can definitely see it being a good re sale point, lots of people are gonna want bluetooth hands free in the future once people start getting a few points, or should that be if. |

Offline | I just got my '07 S with factory Bluetooth, and I can't get it to find my phone. It's a Nokia flip, 6103i, and it works just fine over Bluetooth with my Mac. I'm bummed that I might have to get another phone, as I only got this one 6 months ago. Now proud owner of a 2007 Cooper S! |
