Offline | Loads on this already, mostly in the interior section, but in all honest it's easiest to read it in your manual, it explains which ignition position to be in etc to set all the various options. |

Offline | There's two settings, and two indicator positions (well, four if you're being picky, or five, if REALLY picky). The regular/default is this. Position 1 (nothing). Small move up or down (then returns to centre) results in three flashes in chosen direction. Large move up or down (you feel a "click" or resistance) results in "full" indications. The other options is to have. Position 1(nothing). Small move up or down (and hold for your desired indication time) results in flashing until you allow the stalk to self centre. Large move up or down is the same as above (that is "full" indication). |

Offline | You can set the small up or down to give either 1 flash or 3 flashes. My car was set for 1 flash but I changed it, in the set up, to 3 which is much more useful, especialy when changeing lanes on a motorway Laser Blue / Black MCS - Arived March 07 |

Offline | Not "1 flash", but as many as you hold it in position for. The "3 flash" mode does three at a flick, the "1 flash" one, but it allows you to use it more like a conventional indicator stalk to "hold and flash" too. |

Offline | It does work "normally", has anyone read my posts? Basically, in "single flash" mode (which isn't really single flash, as I say it's as many as you hold in place for), they work just like any other indicator stalk, only when you push them all the way past the "click", they will still self centre (where a traditional stalk would "lock" in place until cancelled either by opposite turning or your finger. In "three flash" mode they still do the same once pressed past the "click" point, but when you do a "little flick", they automatically flash three times. Whereas a traditional indicator (or these in "one flash" mode) would only flash once. Basically the theory is the "three flash" or "lane change" indicator means you can quick flick and then turn, without having to hold to the stalk while you do a few flashes, as you would in "normal" mode (or in many other cars). |

Offline | It is. It's basically almost like a choice between a "classic" mode and the "three flash" mode. The only real difference is the MINI (and BMW) stalks self centre when you make a "past the click point" indication, unlike many other makes of vehicle. My old Smart Roadster Coupe <shudders> had the three flash thing by default. Threw me at first I can tell you! |
