Question Auto Up Passenger Window?

Hi,

My mini doesn't have auto up for the passenger window and from reading the manual this is correct.

I have had this on my last 3 cars and it's a real pain not to have it on the mini.

Is it possible to enable auto-up on the passenger window, either myself or at the dealer?

Thanks

It is very annoying. I believe you can purchase a relay from Mikey at NewMINIStuff that can be fitted to allow you to have auto passenger window up.

Don't feel too bad...in the U.S., neither window is auto up. We can thank the lawyers for that.

That just might save your life next time you're driving with your head out of the window and flicking the window close switch.

There are two circuits that will allow you to do this. GBMini makes one and the other is by MCAW.

I have the one by Ian and it is GREAT.

Ian's circut doesn't work for the R56, though. Don't know about MCAW. Do you have a link?

I just use the key in the driver's door to close everything up when I'm leaving the car.

Whoops, didn't look at the forum.

yes.... www.mcaw.info

But it is not supported either. Sorry for the false hopes.
