I'm thinking about these to match my steering wheel & other bits an bobs but don't fancy having the door panels still in piano black whilst the dash is changed to carbon fibre..........

Should still look good. I've specced Fluid Silver for a contrast to the CF though.

I chose at the time to hang off buying these. They reatil at £330 for the pair and although Chris @ Menzies could do them at the time for £250 i still thought i would hold off.

GLAD I DID

Just bought them off e bay in Germany for £99 inc. delivery

There was another set that ended up unsold that is likely to be relisted if anyone was interested.

I saw those on Ebay........but wasnt to sure about the seller....he didnt seem to sure about what he was selling! Not sure if it was the German to English transulation thing or what.

Yep. I was watching those too, the translation was a bit poor. Thats what put me off.

You might say that until you see the CF ones in the flesh........they are quality

He's just a new e.bay member. He's also German and his English is far better than my German. The part no's are correct, pictures added were correct and his communication is super fast. Part shipping Monday, so hopefully get them this time next week.

Thats true. I saw them when I went to Woodmans when I had my aero kit fitted but they weren't fitted to a car - just on display. Make sure you post some piccis up when you get yours.

Received these yesterday in perfect condition. Fitted last night. A little tricky to get the passenger side trim off...............especially in the dark

They look fantastic and all for the bargain price of £99 delivered

Ermmm, think a purchase from mikethemini is in order for some CF mid range speaker grills

Why don't JCW sell a CF rear view mirror cover ?. MINI do the UJ and chequered ones !

how do these dash pieces fit, there are some more on ebay, same guy, at the mo for £85 b.i.n

Yep fitted, they're genuine and in perfect condition.

These parts retail at £330+ so they're a bargain.

The passenger side is a little tricky. You remove the two screws but then have to release 3 clips from the nearside edge ( with storage compartment open ) They are long and tight and you're best using a small flat blade screw driver.......carefully.

The drivers side is a 2 min. job as you lower the steering column, pull trim with both hands and it pulls right off. Swap over the 3 metal fixing lugs and fit new one.

I haven't had chance yet, but will try and get pics up at the weekend
