| Dooper Driver! | DAB radio - can it be added later? I have a Dooper on order for September delivery, and am tempted by the DAB radio option but I really don't want to spend the extra £285 on it at the moment. Is it possible to retrofit the DAB module at a later date or is the headunit completely different? Or is there an aftermarket solution on the horizon? |

Offline | I specced DAB on mine, and am so glad I did. Reception (unless you live in a very low density population area) is good, and you don't get all the crud stations that are on FM (unless they too have taken the digital route). Also, Channel 4 are launching an ensemble of 10 stations soon, so will offer even more choice. Just go for it. |

Offline | Another solution would be to get a battery operated unit such as this one... MOVE - Intro ...and hook it up to the iPod connector. Not pretty, but pretty cheap. |

| Dooper Driver! | Oh decisions, decisions... already gone over my original budget, that Pure Move unit is nice and compact but it wouldn't be the same as an integrated system. Looks like I'll have to sell some more clag on eBay and save some pennies... I can see this baby topping the £18K mark before long! Will have to decide soon as the car is on 1200 build code now and can't dither too much more before the spec is set in stone. |

Offline | Hi I am also speccing up my Cooper and I was wondering about the DAB radio, is it that much better than the standard radio (stations aside) ? Is the recp and quality as good as a Pure evoke? Be interested in your options. |
