United-Kingdom R56 Steering Wheel

I stupidly didn't order the multi function steering wheel & now after 6 months it's driving me crazy!

Is it possible to get a multi function steering wheel put on the car? Would my local dealer be able to do it?

Thanks.

Yes and yes, but the cost can be quite a shock. I think there's a bit of rewiring involved, it's not just a case of swapping steering wheels if I remember correctly.

Worth it though! It was #1 on my options list.

I've posed the question as well and the only answer I received is that it is "very expensive".

Safety fast,

Hey,

Thanks for the replys.

Went to my local dealer this morning and was told it would cost a total of £700. £500 for parts & £200 for labour.

Expensive but i think worth it!

Might be able to sell the old 3 spoke wheel for people that want to upgrade from the 2 spoke one and get a few ££ back that way ?

For that price you might want to go for the JCW steering wheel... you know, while you're at it.

I was just about to say the same thing - I have the JCW leather and alacanthra (can not spell it) and it is excellent.
