Offline | The Pause button??? This is probably a stupid question, but the CD/Radio manual doesnt help. Im having trouble locating the "Pause" button on my cooper 07 stereo (its the factory stereo with the hifi upgrade). Could someone please tell me where to find it? Thanks Andy |

Offline | I know exactly what you mean - had it on my last car an Alfa 147. Was marked as mute on the steering wheel controls. It also paused a cd if one was playing at the time. Was a very handy function. |

Offline | Push the "Volume" button in till it clicks. I have sat nav and this mutes and pauses (if you are listening to a CD or iPod that is) On a non sat nav unit - I believe it does the same, but the display goes back to time/date display (from what I remember in the courtesy car I had) |

Offline | That is the on/off button, not pause. The strange thing is that after you turn the radio/CD off+on, sometimes the CD will start playing from the same point, but sometimes it will return to the start of the track you were listening to ![]() |

Offline | Damn annoying this feature - especially if listening to a MP3 podcast on CD. You listen going to work and then have to listen from the start going home. Anyone found a way of fast forwarding through an Mp3 track? |

Offline | So it's a pause button then .It IS a pause button on the sat nav. The delayed resume from the start of the track is a feature that Mini have obviously thought would be a useful one - It's not, it's pants ) |

Offline | I started an entire thread on this subject a few months back and got no replies ![]() I agree it's frustrating. During short periods away from the car the track resumes from where you left off (hooray!), but after a day in work...! I too listen to MP3 CDs and often these are long mixes with no track breaks (an hour or more of continuous music). It's a twenty five minutes to drive into work, so I make a mental note of where the track was up to and fast forward to the same point for going home (the lack of a track length display is VERY annoying in such situations as well!). Fast forwarding an MP3 is easy - the same buttons you use to FFWD and reverse an audio CD. SSL |
