Is it possible to turn the auto air con off completely?

Now (well, won;t speak to soon) we have some decent heat and sun, it is nice to have the windows down sometimes, but it is then pointless to have the air con on to - how do you turn it off? Or, can you not?

Yep, just keep pressing down on the fan speed and it switches it off

ok, if you press the aircon button and the light comes on... aircon on. if you press it and the light goes off... aircon off. if you put the fan setting on the lowest possible setting when the aircon light is on... aircon off.

the aircon is only on when the aircon light is on, all other times it's off.

D'oh! Yeah, I wanted to get to the point where the fan goes off, as I know the aircon button is obviously the air con on, or off

yeah, the fan turns completely off when you put the fan switch to the lowest setting :]

Remember to run it regularly (every week?) to keep the seals lubricated.

I had one of those lightbulb moments this morning, when I realised hwo this works!! haha I don't think I have ever used the fan toggle thingy, as I always just have it on auto

Feel a bit stoopid now! :-/

You can also just push and hold down the fan scroll wheel, then you'll see the fan speed graphic reduce and the air con shuts off instead of clicking it down each time till it goes off.
