anyone know how to remove the interior mirror, cant see the screws mine is an 04 mini cant fit the smart covers to the older ones need a newer mirror apparantly

What do you mean by "smart covers"?

If you are talking about the Chequered Flag or Union Jack covers they are available for the smaller mirror, and just stick on with no need to remove anything.
