Scotland Seat won't tilt - cable feels loose

My drivers seat has sudden;ly decided not to tilt forward. Making entry to the rear almost impossilbe. The lever lifts as normal and the cable 'pulls' but it doesn't have the feel of the passenger seat. It feels very loose as if it has become detached at the other end. Is this a dealer job or something that I could fix myself.

Interestingly having searched for similar problems I now know how the seat memory is supposed to work. Not sure if mine does but I will check when I get the first problem fixed.

Thanks

Check the back left hand side and see if theres a cable with a loop on the end loose, if it has then try and find the pin on the back of the seat to reconnect it
