Generic mp3 player connection

Hey all

I have a 07 MCS with aux input under central console

I have a generic mp3 player a Packard bell Audio dream is a 1 gb so more than enough mp3s on it

Do I just need a connector cable from my mp3 line out to input socket?

You will need a lead with a 3.5mm headphone jack at either end. you can get them for about a fiver. you will probably find that the music will sound quiet when played through your stereo, so id put your mp3 player on full & turn the volume on the stereo to your choice

Just gone and got the lead

I cant control the track or volume on mp3 player remotely but I am happy with that

as it is a 1 gb i have approx 250 tracks on it so that is more than enough for me

Remember you have a 700MB MP3 player built into the car - all you need to do is drag and drop your files onto a CD...

yes i know and i use it and i get more info from the cd drive
