| Open Door..Step Out..Easy | They certainly look like it, bit it's difficult to tell without seeing the backs. The Alcantara versions aren't even shown on the MINI website yet, but this is what they look like in leather. JCW seats are a dealer-fitted accessory, so you could order them when speccing the car, or have them fitted any time after taking delivery. |

Offline | If you goto MINI - John Cooper Works - Product / Model Overview and select Interior Carbon/Alcantara then there is a picture of them in Alcantara |

Offline | Be aware theres limited adjustability on them, and I'm not sure you can get rears to match, you couldn't when I ordered my car at the end of last year, would look kinda silly with the front and back seats being a different trim IMO. Plus they ain't cheap, think they are around £1,800. |

Offline | Just installed mine, they cost £1550 from Derek Woodman when bought through this site. About 1 hour each to install then a quick visit to the dealer to recode. If you spec new they will be dealer fitted and you should get the OE seats too. Only the height adjustment is limited, runners are the same, backrest adjustment is better as not a ratchet mechanism. |

Offline | The ones I bought were plain black leather so match the existing punch OK unless you look really closely. Alcantara would look OK with any black rear seats though would not be an exact match. |

Offline | I understand that these are proper Recaro seats, although obviously they're not styled like the ones in the GP, or the the ones available as an option towards the end of the old MINI run. However, does anyone know if the new seats are a tight fit like the old (Sparco) 'JCW' ones? I'm referring to the ones which had silver/ taller cut-outs for harnesses, which I found were a squeeze to sit in even for just a minute, and I'm not especially fat or anything! |
