| MINI2 Regular | I was thinking of ordring the Rooster red with my Pepper White Dooper because white/red is always a good contrast and I thought it would add a splash of colour to the interior. However, the dealer said I was better off buying cream for residuals, and looking at all the used examples they have cream too. Am I mad fro contemplating Rooster? ![]() Speeding has never killed anybody, suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you! |

![]() It's coming... | The great thing about MINIs is that you can customise them to your exact taste. ![]() If you like the combination of Pepper White with Rooster Red then you should go for it - it's your car. ![]() Your dealer may have a point about the residuals but I know I'd prefer white and red over white and cream. ![]() |

Offline | When I was looking for a used mini, but before I was ready to actually buy one, there was a PW cooper at my local garage with a red/black interior and it looked ace and I REALLY wanted it but it had gone before I could actually buy my mini (it was an R50 though so no cream interior available anyway, but the colour combo of PW and red looked v cool). So I would say go for it, it is about what you want, it will be your car! In a similar vein, my last car was a Fiesta ST and I ordered a black one. You could either have red/black seats with a grey dash, or blue/black seats with a blue dash. I ordered the blue and got lots of raised eyebrows (everyone seems to have red interior with black ST) but I liked having just two colours (blue/black) rather than three (red/black/grey) and it looked amazing! |

Offline | I saw a Pepperwhite MCS at a dealer and it had the Rooster Red seats and it looked great! It was the first one I ever saw and I was very impressed. I would have no hesitation buying this and I'm sure many other people would as well (I don't think my taste is that wacky!) |

Offline | Hey Kev Didn't know you were on here! Cream/red sounds great to me. You dealing with Di** Lovett at Cribbs ?, we bought ours from Cotswold in Gloucester, smaller dealer with a much friendlier attitude. Gavin |

Offline | I had a PW Cooper S convertible with the red and black half leather seats and I got a good trade in so go for it. As Scrogg said it makes it stand out from the "norm" too. |

Offline | When I picked up my PW MCS last week, there was a PW MCS on the forecourt with the full rooster red leather and it looked fantastic, so I think the ray cloth in rooster red would look equally as nice. I choose the cream ray cloth because personnaly I liked the look of it (and I have no regrets). It really is down to persaonal taste. I don't think for one minute choosing the rooster red over cream will have any affect on the resale value. Good luck with the choice. Whatever you choose will be right for you, and that's the most important thing. Forget what everyone else thinks. Life's fun in black and white |
