Maybe a question for Mike the mini

Last time my Mini was in to sort the storage compartment rattle, they scratched down the side of the airvent next to the compartment lid. They also scratched my roof with their filthy hands so cost me the price to machine polish that too.

Anyway they have ordered the interior trim ( Speedo surround ) but i am going to fit this myself. Am i correct in thinking that there is two screws at the top hidden in the central dash airvent and one each side hidden behind dash trim. Does it just pull straight out after removal of these 4 screws ?.

Never mind.

Just had a call back saying that i cannot fit this myself after all, as they must fit it seeing as it's a customer service claim on them.

And the system says it's a few hours job...................................what rhyms with Ballack's
