Whatever you do, don't use a 3.5mm X 3.5mm wire. Use a dock connector X 3.5mm wire (ebay about $8 shipped). Sounds much better/louder. I've tried both.

It makes the back seats almost impossible to sit on, and doesn't do much for boot space. Still, maybe I'll use it one day...

You don't use it as a seating option (although I did sit my sister back there once with it-she survived). Seriously, it does allow for getting luggage in there that you couldn't otherwise. A nice thought.
