As far as I am aware the storage compartment pack give you the little cubby hole above the glove box which is behind the dashboard trim and opens up when press, as well as a net in the passenger footwell next to the centre console and nets in the boot.

I believe that's right. Not sure now since it was part of the Chilli Pack by the time I took delivery. Definitely the nets.

Isn't the 12V output in trunk also in this pack?

I think that might be standard, but I may be wrong.

I think you get nets on the back of the seats too (or is that just a first generation thing?).

Ours is a Jan '07 build car with the Chili Pack but theres nothing behind the expanse of Piano Black on the passenger side. Keeps the finger makers off of them I suppose There's also no 12V in the rear of ours either.

Did you untick the option though?

Because both my mum's and brother's R56 Coopers have it and they have the Chili Pack.

Does Mrs spd's One not have it then?

I thought it was now a standard part of the Option Packs?

Oh yeah, sorry for not making that clear. She was keen to show me the 'hidden' compartment above the glovebox.

I sorta new what was in the Gen 1 storage compartment pack, just not sure (haven't really looked) what you get Gen 2.

She's well happy now that I've shown her that with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo lead she can connect her ipod via aux without needing her transmitter thingy

What it means is:

You unlatch the backs of the seats and there is a bar on a hinge with the metal eye which the back of the seat grabs on to and this makes it so the backs of the seat are at a 90 degree angle, so you end up with more boot space.

I'm sure somebody could explain it better.

Ah, I see it now. It's not exactly "high tech" is it?

It makes the back seats almost impossible to sit on, and doesn't do much for boot space. Still, maybe I'll use it one day...
